<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric-wave emission source visualization device and its method for preventing lowering of accuracy in an multipath environment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: On the occasion of estimating the direction of arrival of an electric wave in the electric-wave emission source visualization device, a complex weight for canceling a delay wave is calculated by using an active array algorithm with a delay tap. A beam which generates a null in the direction of arrival of the delay wave, is formed by using this complex weight on the occasion of beam formation. Moreover, the beam forming the null in the direction of arrival of the delay wave is visualized on a two-dimensional plane, by paying attention to and using the matter that the value of the complex weight corresponds to the arrival direction of the multipath delay wave. The position of an electric-wave emission source is pinpointed even in a multipath environment, by lapping this visualization image over a background image obtained with a camera or the like.
