<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength converter and a light-emitting device, and a lighting device capable of improving luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength converter 19 converts the wavelength of light emitted from a light source and outputs output light including the wavelength-converted light. In the wavelength converter, phosphors for emitting red light, emitting blue light, and emitting green light are dispersed in a transparent matrix, the quantization efficiency of the phosphor for emitting blue light is higher than that of the phosphor for emitting red light and the phosphor for emitting green light, and the average grain size of the phosphor for emitting blue light is smaller than that of the phosphor for emitting red light and the phosphor for emitting green light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
