PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a leak caused by faulty sealing in a container hermetically sealed by a face-bonding sealing part, by which total inspection can be performed without destroying containers by inspection, or in a nondestructive manner. SOLUTION: Two lead wires 3, 4, which are nearly in parallel and do not cross each other, are formed in advance for the bonding part of the sealing part 2 made of non-conductive material. One ends of the two lead wires 3, 4 are exposed to outside the sealing part 2 as a pair of terminals 3a, 4a. As for a hermetically sealed container 1, then, an ammeter 5 is connected to the pair of terminals 3a, 4a exposed to outside the sealing part 2 to inspect the presence or absence of a minute current, thereby inspecting the presence or absence of a leak in the sealing part 2 caused by faulty sealing.
