摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique effective for reducing transmission of external force caused by violent action of a tool bit to the tool body in a working tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The working tool accomplishing a predetermined machining work by a linear motion of the tool bit 119 in a longitudinal direction has: a tool body 103, a tool holder 137 holding the tool bit 119 in the distal end region and extending in the longitudinal direction of the tool bit 119, and a resilient body 155. A rear side of the tool holder 137 is extended to a side opposite to the distal end region into the tool body 103 and is coupled rotatably, in the extended region, in the directions of the Y axis and the X axis intersecting the Z axis centering around a rotary point P on the Z axis defined by the longitudinal axis line of the tool bit 119 with respect to the tool body 103. The resilient body 155 applies an urging force such that the tool holder 137 is held at a predetermined position, i. e. its initial position, with respect to the tool body 103.
