PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyer which prevents an endless chain from flowing downward to an opening when the endless chain stops turning without any necessity of adjustment of the distance between a pair of sprockets for a long time. SOLUTION: The conveyer includes a pair of sprockets, a casing 9 in which these sprockets are attached, a bearing member 15 which supports a support shaft 2a of a sprocket 2, an endless chain which is wound on the pair of sprockets and to which scrapers are attached at predetermined intervals, a nut fixed to the bearing member 15, a screw shaft 25 which is screwed to this nut and has a spring washer, a coil spring 26 which is served as a coil spring pre-compressed and mounted between this spring washer and the casing 9 and which has a restoration applying the bearing member 15 in a direction for making the interval between the pair of sprockets large, and a stopper which is mounted to the screw shaft 25 and used to limit a compression deflection of the coil spring 26.
