PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide film having a porous structure on one side, capable of preparing a printed matter with an even dot reproductivity and a high image quality without set-off at the time of the use as an ink image receiving sheet for a printer, etc. SOLUTION: The aromatic polyamide film has a 5-100μm thickness, a 30-70% void ratio, a 2×10<SP>6</SP>pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>or more numerical density of an aperture part having a 50-500 nm average diameter in a layer providing one side surface (A layer), and a 0.5 piece/mm<SP>2</SP>or less numerical density of an aperture part having a 50 nm or more shorter axis in a layer providing the other surface (B layer).
