The closure (1) comprises an upper part (3) for closing the container opening. A ring part (2) is provided, on which the upper part is arranged for affecting the closing condition of the closure. The closure has a fastening unit, by which the ring part is connected with the closure for affecting a non-operational condition different from the operational condition of the closure, and by which the ring part is held in the operational condition of the closure at the container. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a closure of a cylindrical container by injection molding.
