<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of a water feeding duct by inhibiting backflow of mucus, blood, etc., from a water feeding jet port. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The endoscope distal end 10 has the water feeding jet port 20 in a resin cap 13 on the distal end side of a water feeding tube 18 for feeding water into a body to be observed. In the endoscope distal end 10, a cone-shaped projecting edge part 21 swelling at a prescribed inclination angle or cylindrical projecting edge part projecting in the vertical direction, for example, projecting from a distal end face 13F, is integrally formed in the peripheral edge of the water feeding jet port 20 in the cap 13 (on the distal end face 13F). With this structure, the mucus or blood, etc., flowing toward the water feeding jet port 20, detours around the projecting edge part 21, so that the mucus or blood, etc., does not flow backward into the water feeding tube from the water feeding jet port 20.
