PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label excellent in tearing property and composed of a heat-shrinkable polystyrene laminated film which expresses both satisfactory heat-shrinking property and shearing property along perforations and which is hard to break in a longitudinal direction at the time of processing such as printing and high in productivity. SOLUTION: The label is so formed that a base material is made of a heat-shrinkable polystyrene film F in which the film width direction is made a main shrinking direction, and which is obtained by laminating a skin layer essentially composed of a polyester resin layer at least on one side of a core layer essentially composed of a polystyrene resin, is cut according to a packaging object, and an annular body with its both ends in the film width direction bonded covers at least a part of the periphery of the packaging object by heat-shrinking. In the label, the rectangular tear strength in the longitudinal direction orthogonal to the main shrinking direction is 90 N/mm-300 N/mm, the tensile breaking strength in the longitudinal direction orthogonal to the main shrinking direction is≥100 MPa and≤300 MPa, and the heat shrinkage in the direction orthogonal to the main shrinking direction when treated in 160°C hot air for one minute is≥40%.
