摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum corresponding relationship between image pattern data and ink supplying amount in a printing machine by taking delay of response when adjusting the ink supplying amount into consideration.

SOLUTION: A printing plate is mounted on a plate cylinder of a printing machine. A target color of the image pattern of this printing plate is set. The present color of the image pattern printed during operating the printing machine is measured by an online colorimeter. The ink supplying amount is controlled so that the present color approaches the set target color. Under the condition that printing is performed at an ink responding time constant or more of the printing machine, when the present color becomes within an allowance preset to the target color, a corresponding relation between the picture pattern data and the ink supplying amount at that time is acquired. A plurality of sets of the corresponding relation between the picture pattern data and the ink supplying amount are acquired, so that the optimum corresponding relationship between the picture pattern data and the ink supplying amount is automatically set.
