<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase object identification device and method, capable of identifying a phase object, by a method quite different from the phase object observation method or measuring method using the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The phase object identification device 1 for identifying the phase object imparting a phase change to a light has a light source 2, a sample holding means 3 for holding the phase object 31 of an identification object, a holographic recording medium 4 recorded with a hologram 41 formed by interference between a reference light 25 and an object light 24 phase-modulated by a known phase object 32, and a photodetector 5, generates a sample light 22 by modulating a phase of light 21 emitted from the light source, by the identification-objective phase object, irradiates the hologram of the holographic recording medium with the sample light, and detects a regenerated light 23 regenerated from the hologram of the holographic recording medium, by the photodetector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
