PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fracture performance evaluation method capable of measuring the fracture strength of a welded structure with a welding residual stress with high precision, and a database apparatus. SOLUTION: The fracture performance evaluation method evaluate the fracture performance of a welded structure with cracks and a welding residual stress, and comprises: a first step of determining a first Weibull stress distribution curve using a fracture-toughness standard test sample of predetermined conditions; a second step of determining a second Weibull stress distribution curve by adding an actual-residual-stress corresponding stress to a plane three dimensional model of the predetermined conditions; and a third step of determining an equivalent CTOD coefficient from the first Weibull stress distribution curve and the second Weibull stress distribution curve.
