PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air cooling device for an air cooled type condenser for cooling intake air of the air cooled type condenser by a smaller and inexpensive means compared to conventional devices. SOLUTION: The intake air cooling device 800 for the air cooled type condenser includes a filler 900 arranged on an intake air path of the air cooled type condenser and having predetermined thickness in the intake air direction. Water is made to flow through the filler 900, and water flowing out from a lower part of the filler 900 is recovered by a water recovery container 804. The water recovered by the water recovery container 804 is pumped up to the upper side of the filler 900 by a pump 280 via a strainer cap 270. The pumped up water passes through a plurality of discharge ports provided in a water supply container 810B, and is uniformly made to flow from the upper side of the filler 900 to inside. Since the water is circulated and evaporated by intake air of the air cooled type condenser, intake air cooling is performed by an action of evaporation heat. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
