<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat apparatus for a vehicle can easily execute the unlocking operation of a locking mechanism for locking a seat cushion and the flip-up operation of the seat cushion in one operation of an operation lever. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The seat apparatus for the vehicle having the double-fold function includes a locking mechanism 43 for locking the turn of a seat cushion 21, and an operation lever 38 formed of a rigid body which is turnably provided on a side face of the seat cushion to release the locking mechanism in one operation, and turn the seat cushion in the flip-up direction.
