<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge prism structure for an infrared imaging device reducing a load on driving characteristics owing to angular acceleration of prisms. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Wedge prisms 20 and 30 constituting this wedge prism structure for the infrared imaging device are arranged so that prism rotation axes P of the wedge prisms 20 and 30 incline at prescribed offset angles, respectively, in reference to the visual-field center line of a detector 50. A fixed wedge prism 45 is disposed between the wedge prism 30 and the detector 50, with the wedge prism 45 disposed so that its prism rotation axis P is parallel to the visual-field center line M of the infrared detector.
