PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which uses decoded video signals as one of structure components of character figure signals by providing video included in a corresponding area of decoded video signals at one area of character figure signals of a digital broadcast program contents, and which provides more advanced and flexible guide channels by allowing guide channel providers to control drawing factors. SOLUTION: If a corresponding pixel of character figure signals is a predetermined predetermined color, each pixel that consists of the displaying video signals is obtained from a corresponding pixel of the decoded video signals. At the same time, if a corresponding pixel of the character figure signals is rather than the predetermined color, it is obtained from a corresponding pixel of the character figure signals.
