The device (28) has a drive element (2) i.e. drive plate, fastened to a crankshaft (8) of an internal-combustion engine, where the drive element is designed as an inlet part (3) of a two-mass flywheel (1). The drive element comprises a central opening (17) for centered retaining on an axial projection (19) of the crankshaft. A tolerance ring is arranged between the central opening and the projection. The tolerance ring is punched and rolled from flat sheet metal material. A flange (23) is arranged at an end of the tolerance ring, where the end is turned to the crankshaft.
