The light (1) has an oblong light housing (2) provided for an oblong lamp (3) that is formed from a bulb and has stepped ends. A coil section (4') of the bulb is formed in end regions of the lamp such that the section runs parallel to a main section (4) of the bulb. A socket (8) holds the lamp, where a receiving area (6) is provided within front areas of the housing. The receiving area encloses the coil section if the lamp is provided in an operating position. The socket is adjustably supported to move the section (4') from the operating into a lamp change position outside of the area (6). |
