<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member management system for introducing admission to a membership card through word of mouth by using a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When an introducer A who owns a portable telephone 7-1 introduces admission to an introduced person B who owns a portable telephone 7-2, the introducer A creates introduction mail by the portable telephone 7-1, and transmits it to a store server 3. The store server 3 receives the introduction mail from the portable telephone 7-1, and transmits the introduction mail including URL created by using a member ID of the introducer A as a parameter to the portable telephone 7-2 of the introduced person B. The introduced person B accesses a store server 3 by selecting the URL included in the mail text of the introduction mail from the store server 3 by the portable telephone 7-2, and requests download of the membership card application.
