<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a web position with simple operation not requiring time for adjusting operation. <P>SOLUTION: A target value for moving and adjusting a web in a conveying direction of the same is set from relative positions of a printed matter and a printing area (step S2) and the web is moved in the conveying direction of the same according to the direct input of the target value (steps S3, S4). Thus, an operator looks at the printed matter which has been printed, selects the target value to be adjusted, and directly inputs the same, thereby the web moves to the target value. Consequently the operator can do other works while the web moves. As the result, working time can be shorten.
