PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended matter removing device for efficiently removing suspended matters in liquid in a narrow space. SOLUTION: This suspended matter removing device 70A for removing the suspended matter S from the liquid (bath water 150a) flowing in piping (return pipe 60b) is constituted by disposing a flow changing pipe conduit 71 for changing the direction of the flow in the pipe in the shape of a crank, and disposing an accumulating section 72 connected to a terminal end section of the flow changing pipe conduit and extending roughly on the extension of the flow in the flow changing pipe conduit, and a discharge pipe conduit provided with a discharge valve on the way of its pathway, is connected to an upper section of the accumulating section.
