PURPOSE: A composite for electrode active material is provided to minimize volume change of metal-carbon complex generated in charge and discharge by a Si-C-O material layer. CONSTITUTION: A composite for electrode active material comprises a metal-carbon complex and a Si-C-O material layer. The metal-carbon complex is formed by alloying lithium, metal capable of alloying with lithium and a first carbonaceous material. The Si-C-O material layer is laminated on a metal-carbon complex. The metal capable of alloying with lithium is selected from the group consisting of Si, Al, Sn, Sb, Ga, Ge and alloy containing two kinds of metal. |
