The present invention relates to a system (1) for controlling the growth of at least one plant (23) in a medium (24) by determining the moisture content and the aqueous concentration of at least one plant nutrient and by regulating said parameters. The present invention further relates to the use of such a system (1) for growing plants under controlled conditions.
