PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which has excellent developability not only at an ordinary-temperature and in an ordinary-humidity environment but at high-temperature and in high-humidity environment, and at low-temperature and in low-humidity environment as well and with which uniform and satisfactory image quality can be obtained in halftone images and further the high-quality images thereof can be maintained for a long period of time and durability is imparted thereto. SOLUTION: The toner has toner particles and inorganic fine powder mixed with the toner particles, wherein the toner particles contain a binder resin, a colorant, wax, and a resin (a resin A) composed of a vinyl monomer containing a styrene, styrene derivative, (meth)acrylate, and sulfonic acid group satisfying the following conditions: The conditions are such that (1) the relation between the acid value [AV(s)] obtained from the vinyl monomer content containing the sulfonic acid group and the total acid value [AV(r)] in the resin (A) is specified to AV(s)≤AV(r)≤AV(s) x 1.2 and (2) the glass transition temperature is specified to≥80°C.
