PURPOSE: A method for operating a door lock system using a subscriber identification module and a door lock system using the same are provided to enhance security by preventing the leakage of the authentication information. CONSTITUTION: The intrinsic information of a subscriber recorded in a subscriber identification module is extracted(S110). The intrinsic information of the subscriber is compared with the intrinsic information of the allowable subscriber stored in an inner memory(S120). If the intrinsic information of the subscriber is identical to the intrinsic information of the allowable subscriber stored in an inner memory, it is determined whether the door is opened or closed(S130).
