The device (1) has a monoblock support piece (3) with reduced thickness and welded to a structure of a motor vehicle. A motor (2) is fixed on the support piece at different points. The support piece is fixed to a lower crossbeam of a recess of a windscreen. The motor has fixation points equally distributed on the support piece. The support piece comprises an elongated body (4) arranged transversely with respect to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The body has a thin lateral fixation bracket (5), and a central fixation bracket (8) with an orifice to receive an elastomer centering unit.
