A housing and/or maintaining accessory (300) houses and maintains an article e.g. remote control of global positioning system, and is fixedly engaged on a part of an upper edge of the container, where the accessory is made of flexible material i.e. elastomer. The container and the accessory respectively have orifices (230, 330) aligned with each other for receiving a pin (400). The accessory comprises a housing for receiving the article.
