PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of obtaining a gasket for molding plastic lenses, having moderate flexibility, heat resistance and excellent strength, and to provide the gasket for molding the plastic lens comprising the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition used for the gasket for molding plastic lenses comprises, by weight, 15-50%, 25-70% and 15-50% of the following components (A), (B) and (C), respectively: (A) is a polyolefin resin having the durometer hardness D of≥50 and a melting point of≥130°C; (B) is an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having the content of ethylene-1-octene copolymer of≥25 wt.% and the durometer hardness D of≤30; and (C) is a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating the block copolymer having a polymer block mainly including vinyl aromatic compounds and that mainly including conjugated diene compounds.
