PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating composition excellent in dispersion stability and re-dispersion property. SOLUTION: The electrodeposition coating composition contains a pigment anti-settling agent (a) comprising a fatty acid, a fatty acid derivative, an amine compound or a mixture of at least two kinds selected from the above three kinds, a pigment (b) and a binder resin (c), wherein the pigment (b) contains an extender having an oil absorption of not more than 70 mL/100 g.
