<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal apparatus which can easily set an operating part at a desired tilt. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The terminal apparatus has a main body base 12 having an operating part, an underframe 20 for holding the main body base 12 to be tilted, a hook 31 for tilting the main body base 12 at a plurality of predetermined angles and fixing the main body base, a train of teeth which has a plurality of teeth and which is engaged with the hook 31 to tilt the main body base 12 at the plurality of predetermined angles and to fix the main body base thereat, and a lock lever 36 for holding the engaged state between the hook 31 and the tooth train.
