<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent various information from becoming hard to be visually recognized when various information to be visually recognized by a driver and projected image elements virtually displayed on a display means overlap one another. <P>SOLUTION: The device captures a front scene of a vehicle by a front scene shooting camera 4 and recognizes information (first information) to be visually recognized by a driver such as a road sign 15 contained in a captured image and information (second information) not wanted to be visually recognized by a driver such as sun 21.
