TRAFFIC CONTROL METHOD IN GATEWAY DEVICE, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling traffic in a network system to be interconnected with a plurality of networks.

SOLUTION: A traffic control method includes monitoring and controlling, by means of a traffic management apparatus 10, traffic in a network system where signals of different signal schemes on a plurality of networks are interconnected via a gateway device 11. The traffic management apparatus 10 collects from one or more gateway devices the number of reception signals by network in the gateway device 11 per unit time and information on a load state in the gateway device 11, calculates an entire load amount in the gateway devices 11 from the collected numbers of reception signals and information on the load states, generates a regulation signal for a control signal amount of traffic to be controlled by network, sends out the regulation signal for the control signal amount to an exchanger or a server adjacent to the gateway device 11, continuously collects the number of reception signals and the information on the load state and instructs the exchanger or the server to update or cancel the control signal amount.
