<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing leakage of removable medium information, can prevent leakage of secret information under editing even if an information leakage prevention means is not normally operated while editing the secret information stored in a removable medium. <P>SOLUTION: A document editing program 8 for editing an encrypted file 11 stored in a second storage area 3 within a USB memory 1 and storing it as an encrypted document within the second storage area 3 is stored in the USB memory 1. The document editing program 8 includes a means which starts monitoring processing of other applications in activation, and a means which confirms, when the monitoring is failed, the current mode of the document editing program 8, forwards the step to termination determination of the program when the mode is a protection mode, and shifts the mode to the protection mode, when the mode is a general mode, followed by forwarding to the termination determination of the program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
