PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "vehicle drive supporting apparatus" capable of easily recognizing a travel prediction line of a present vehicle displayed on a screen. SOLUTION: A vehicle drive supporting apparatus includes: a display means; an imaging means for capturing an image around a present vehicle; a storage means for storing beforehand data of an image of the present vehicle and storing the data of the image captured by the imaging means; a steering sensor for acquiring information on a steering angle of a handle of the present vehicle; and a control means which calculates an orbit on which the present vehicle moves in accordance with the steering angle and performs control to combine the image-processed travel prediction line (44, 45) with the image around the present vehicle and to display a combination image on a screen of the display means so as to display the orbit in a mode raising an attention. The orbit on which the present vehicle moves may also be at least either a tire orbit 44 of the present vehicle or a car body orbit 45 indicating both terminal portions of a bumper in plane projection of the present vehicle.
