<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of reducing noises such as an interference sound produced during rotation of a rotor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a vane pump 1, wherein a vane accommodating portion 7 is provided extending along a radial direction of a rotatably and pivotally supported rotor 4, a slidable vane 8 is accommodated within the vane accommodating portion 7, and the vane 8 causes the vane accommodating portion 7 to slide by the rotation of the rotor 4 to come into sliding contact with the inner circumferential surface of the ring member 3, by disposing a ring member 3 on the outer circumferential side of the vane 8, an area of outer circumference side in the vane 8 is configured by an elastic portion 8a made of rubber.
