<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a liquid-jet recording head, whereby a three-dimensional shape effective to a liquid discharge efficiency is imparted to a flow passage, a liquid passage and a supply port can be formed in satisfactory shapes, and in a distance between the ink supply port and a heat-generating resistor is uniform. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the liquid-jet recording head includes at least: forming on a substrate a first flow passage pattern side-wall formed from a cured resin layer, as a first negative photosensitive rein layer, containing a photo-cation polymerization initiator and an epoxy resin as its main constituent; forming a positive photosensitive rein layer thicker than the first negative photosensitive resin layer that fills at least the first flow passage pattern; polishing the surface of the positive photosensitive resin until the upper end face of the side wall of the flow passage is exposed; and forming on a flattened face a second negative photosensitive resin layer containing a photo-cation polymerization initiator and an epoxy resin as its main constituent.
