<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of microbial power generation in a microbial power generation device retaining an oxidation reduction catalyst in a positive electrode chamber solution. Oxygen-containing gas is supplied to an air diffusion pipe 51 of the positive electrode chamber 33 to aerate a positive electrode solution, a negative electrode solution L is supplied to the negative electrode chamber, preferably, the negative electrode solution is circulated.
