<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of microbial power generation in a microbial power generation device retaining an oxidation reduction catalyst in a positive electrode chamber solution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By arranging two plate-like partition materials 31, 31 parallel in a bath 30, a negative electrode chamber 32 is formed between the partition materials 31, 31, two positive electrode chambers 33, 33 are formed by being separated with the negative electrode chamber 32 and each of the partition materials 31. Oxygen-containing gas is supplied to an air diffusion pipe 51 of the positive electrode chamber 33 to aerate a positive electrode solution, a negative electrode solution L is supplied to the negative electrode chamber, preferably, the negative electrode solution is circulated.
