PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel of a structure for preventing a routing wire, which is led out of a display area to a peripheral non display area and arranged, from being disconnected. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 1 is provided with a first substrate 2 and a second substrate 12 arranged opposite to the first substrate 2. The first substrate 2 includes: a plurality of routing wires GL, SL connected to wiring arranged in the display area DA, wired to the non display area NDA, and covered with an insulating layer; and a terminal area T in which the routing wires are connected to an external control circuit. A sealing material 10 is applied and stuck on a part corresponding to the non display area NDA of one of the first and second substrates. A projection-shaped protection member 11b for protecting the routing wires GL, SL is arranged on the insulating layer in the non display area NDA of the first substrate 2.
