<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the distortion of a liquid crystal layer when the distortion is generated externally or internally in a liquid crystal input/output display device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device including a flexible liquid crystal panel 3 and an over sheet 1 provided at a viewing side of the flexible liquid crystal panel 3 or holding members 4, 5 provided on the back side of the flexible liquid crystal panel 3, wherein adhesive layers 10, 11, 12 are provided between the flexible liquid crystal panel 3 and the over sheet 1 or between the flexible liquid crystal panel 3 and the holding members so that they adhere to each other, and the adhesive layer 12 is partially removed at a part where stress is partially applied to the flexible liquid crystal panel 3.
