<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball point pen by which the filling quantity of ink with which an ink storing tube is filled can be increased and a ready-made ink storing tube can be used even in the case of shortening the body shaft tube. <P>SOLUTION: The opening rear end portion 6a of the ink storing tube 6 having a pen tip arranged in the front end portion is inwardly fitted into a holder member 7 arranged in the body shaft tube 2 from the front side, thereby the ink storing tube 6 are detachably held, a pressurizing pump mechanism 16 pressurizing the inside of the opening rear end portion 6a of the ink storing tube 6 interlocking with knocking operation of a knock mechanism 9 arranged in the rear end portion 2b of the body shaft tube 2 is arranged behind the holder member 7 in the ball point pen 1.
