PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately perform biometric authentication even when the detection range of a collation sensor is smaller than that of a registration sensor.
SOLUTION: In an individual template reading part 35, biological feature information and biological shape information about an applicable individual are read from an individual template recording device 2 on the basis of an input user ID. In an optimal collation area calculation part 38 in which the biological feature information is input, the optimal collation area matching detection range information of the collation sensor 36 among pieces of input biological feature information is calculated. In a derivation guide generation part 34, a derivation guide in which the biological shape information is input from the individual template reading part 35, and which indicates the position of the optimal collation area in the biological shape is generated. The derivation guide is presented to a user by a derivation guide presentation part. In a biological feature collation part, the biological feature acquired by the collation sensor 36 is collated with the biological feature of the optimal collation area.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
