PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous polypropylene film which is excellent in heat resistance and processability and exhibits excellent properties when used as a separator. SOLUTION: At least on one surface of the porous film containing a polypropylene resin having≥50%β-crystal fraction, particles having no softening point or having≥180°C softening point are present at density of 1,000-50,000 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>.
