<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of estimating its service life without abnormally oscillating a magnetron and notifying a user when the magnetron has reached its set service life. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cooker includes the magnetron 8 for supplying microwaves into a heating chamber, a magnetron temperature detecting means 19 for detecting the temperature of the magnetron 8, a service life determining means 18 for determining the service life of the magnetron 8, and a notifying means 12 for notifying the user of the service life determined by the service life determining means 18. The service life determining means 18 determines that the magnetron 8 has reached the end of its service life when the temperature detected by the magnetron temperature detecting means 19 has reached a predetermined temperature or higher, and the notifying means 12 notifies the user of the determination.
