<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system which is improved so that both of a voice signal and data can be transmitted by a tone squelch method. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication system divides a single channel into a first frequency band and a second frequency band, and transmits a voice signal and data simultaneously by using the first frequency band and the second frequency band, or transmits one of the voice signal and the data from a transmitting side wireless unit to a receiving side wireless unit. The transmitting side wireless unit assigns the voice signal to the first frequency band to be transmitted when only the voice signal is transmitted. The transmitting side wireless unit assigns the data to the first frequency band, and assigns a predetermined signal to the second frequency band to be transmitted when only the data is transmitted. The transmitting side wireless unit assigns the voice signal to the first frequency band, and assigns the data to the second frequency band to be transmitted when the voice signal and the data are transmitted simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
