<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which has a good image resolving performance, less generates image deformation, and moreover, reduces strike through, and to provide an image recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder includes a processing liquid head 134 mechanism which gives a flocculant processing liquid that contains a 5 wt.%-60 wt.% high boiling point organic solvent to a recording medium 114, a processing liquid drying unit 136 which dries the flocculant processing liquid on the recording medium 114, a removing roller 138 which removes the high boiling point organic solvent in the dried flocculant processing liquid on the recording medium 114, an ink head 140 which delivers an ink to the flocculant processing liquid, and a solvent drying unit 142 which dries the solvent of an ink layer on the recording medium 114. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
