<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discard image log data according to a discharging state of documents. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 12 performs image formation processing on input documents and outputs output documents, and also outputs job log information 52 such as IDs of those documents and log information 56 including image log data 54 of the output documents to an image log management device 14 through a network 18. A document discarding device 16 reads an ID of a document to be discarded to discard the document, and outputs the discarded document ID to the image log management device 14 through the network 18. The image log management device 14 generates tree information 60 from the log information 56, and when all output documents of a job with the discarded document as an input document and all output documents having child/grandchild relations with those output documents are already discarded, the image log management device 14 deletes the image log data 54 of those output documents based upon the tree information 60 and discarded document information 58. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
