<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport powder well by preventing excessive load from being applied to a driving force transmission member for transmitting driving force to a transporting member for transporting powder. <P>SOLUTION: An image holder unit 90Y has a cylindrical first waste toner transporting path 94Y through which waste toner can pass on a top section and a second waste toner transporting path 104Y which is almost orthogonal to the first waste toner transporting path 94Y. The second waste toner transporting path 104Y is connected to a unit body 93Y by having screw holes 128a and 128c screwed, having a driving gear 108Y side fixed by having screw holes 128b and 128d screwed and having a boss 130 supported by a boss hole 132 with allowance.
