<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-feeding terminal for an external electrode discharge lamp excelling in contactability to an electrode and easily attachable to an electrode, and alsot to provide a light source device using the power-feeding terminal for an external electrode discharge lamp. <P>SOLUTION: This power-feeding terminal 5 for an external electrode discharge lamp is attached to an electrode of the external electrode discharge lamp having an electrode covering the outer peripheral surface of a discharge tube. The power-feeding terminal 5 for an external electrode discharge lamp is formed out of one metallic plate material. The power-feeding terminal 5 for an external electrode discharge lamp is provided with: a wound part 10 wound over one turn along the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the electrode; a first projecting part 11 connected to an end 10a of the wound part 10 in relation to the circumferential direction, and extended in a direction separating from the electrode; and a second projecting part 12 connected to an end 10b of the wound part 10 on the side opposite the end 10a, and extended in a direction separating from the electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
