<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transfer medium prevented of which the temperature is prevented from rising even when a heat source of 200°C or higher is used, and an image forming device using the transfer medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An ink drying drum 38 includes a plurality of disks 84 fixed to a rotary shaft 82. The surface area is increased by providing a clearance 95 between adjacent disks 84 and 84. Since the end faces of the disks 84 are equivalent to so-called heat sinks, a heat dissipation effect is obtained.
