The intercooler has two parallel flow branches (1a, 1b) with cooling units (2a, 2b) and channel units (3a, 3b), respectively. The cooling unit (2a) is positioned in a flow direction in front of the channel unit (3a) in the branch (1a), and the channel unit (3b) is positioned in the flow direction in front of the cooling unit (3a) in the branch (1b). The cooling and channel units are separately produced and are coupled with one another by a separately produced connecting unit (4). The connecting unit has connecting chambers (6a, 6b), which are assigned to the branches, respectively. |
